ABU Ghuraib was not an isolated incident. When the video recording of the inhumane acts in the huge detention camp was made public three weeks ago, it was not only the sense of justice that was shaken. Much harder to take was the fact that the White House tried to cover up the bad news. Crimeparticularly when executed by the war machine of a major nationgoes hand in hand with conspiracy.
