Election campaigning has yet to begin, but already there are casualties. Why do parties like to mobilize the masses?

OUR democracy is already headed in the right direction—albeit unsteadily. Freedom to express our political aspirations is guaranteed, although there are too many parties. But the old-fashioned way in which political parties campaign is still being widely used, namely mobilizing crowds. This method achieves nothing. If the intention is to give the public political education, it totally misses its target.
