IT is no secret that corruption is rife in Indonesia. Many international watchdog organizations have reported the results of their annual surveys, most of which place Indonesia among the world's five topmost corrupt nations, at least in the last seven years. Yet the reform movement started with the spirit to do away with what became known as corruption, collusion and nepotism.
