THE yellow book is already worn-out. It is understandable as the book is hundreds of years old. As ancient as it may look, the book that uses the native language of Tidore is still well kept by Dahlan Thalib’s parents in their house. Dahlan is Secretary-General of the Young Generation of Mafututu Village, in the municipality of Tidore islands, North Maluku province.
