NTB’s Shrinking Springs
OVER the last three years, forest destruction in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has reached 2,167 hectares. The figures have increased the area of forest damage in 2003, covering 159,343 hectares, with critical non-forest land involving a greater expanse of 368,619 hectares.
