Sub-District Facilitators in Kota Waringin Timur, Central Kalimantan

In Kota Waringin Timur facilitators are from the community. They work with the project to provide technical assistance and capacity building training for community and government staff at the subdistrict and village level program management.

The community is 75 % farmers (rice, vegetables, coconuts), 10% fishermen, and 15 % landowners who harvest/make their own food. The ethnic breakdown is 70% Malay and 30% Javanese migrants.
