Andalas’ Mating Game

THE operation to rescue a Sumatran rhino on the edge of Sabah’s forest, northern Kalimantan, reminds us of another mission being undertaken in the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary (SRS), Way Kambas, Lampung. Andalas, a 6-year-old Sumatran rhino, was specially brought here from Cincinnati Zoo, USA, to be mated with local female rhinos.
