Greenpeace on a Mission of Hope

JAYAPURA – In early October, Greenpeace began a campaign on “Forest for Climate” in Papua. They held an open boat event and a seminar with Papuans as well as the regional government in Jayapura. The campaign was to raise people’s awareness of the disadvantages of deforestation, reduction of biodiversity, and how it will affect people whose lives still depend on the forest.
