Education in Paniai ‘On Hold’
PANIAI – It has been three weeks since October 7 when teaching activities at kindergartens through senior high schools in Paniai, Papua were canceled. These schools refused to open due to non-transparent management of the school operational aid, BOS.
The strike left thousands of students abandoned. Teachers teaching in remote areas in Papua’s mountains complain about the cutting of their incentive funds. S
