Fewer Recipients of Rice-for-Poor Package in NTB

MATARAM—Deputy of Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare at the Division of People’s Welfare & Housing, Adang Sutiana, said the number of poor households that receive rice-for-poor packages in Indonesia have dropped by 1 million this year. There were 19.1 million recipients in 2008.

In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), the number of recipients reduced from 567,578 in 2008 to 537,738 this year.
