MOST fish have eyes on the sides of their heads, but a new species found in the waters of Ambon has forward-facing eyes like humans. The unique carnivorous frogfish also has a fleshy chin and cheeks, adding to its strange appearance.

The bizarre new species is called Histiophryne psychedelica. The word pscychedelica refers to the odd tan and peach-colored zebra stripes it has.
