Three Bomb Blasts in Jayapura

THREE bombs exploded under the Muara Tami Bridge in Jayapura, an area directly bordering Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, around 09:00 Central Indonesian Time, Wednesday (08/04).

Papua Police Chief, Insp. Gen. Bagus Ekodanto, confirmed finding the bombs. “We do not know whether the blast was intended to disturb the security for the elections tomorrow,” he said.
