POVERTY is not only found in East Nusa Tenggara but throughout the country. It is predicted that the number of poor people in Indonesia this year will not be that much different to the number last year.

According to the National Development Planning Board (Bappenas), the number of poor people this year totals 14 percent, or 1.4 percent lower than in 2008.
