The yellow-crested cockatoo, no longer found on Flores in East Nusa Tenggara, flourishes on neighboring Komodo Island.

KOMODO Island is home not only to the Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) that makes it a new candidate for inclusion in the list of the Seven Wonders of the World, but also to a whole range of bird species.
