Protecting Bali Turtles

A CAMPAIGN to protect turtles held by ProFauna Indonesia was carried out on Kuta Beach, Thursday (16/7). It used a 100-meter-long banner bearing the words ‘Only 1 from 1,000 will Survive’.

Committee members also distributed stickers on turtle preservation to tourists on Kuta Beach.

ProFauna Coordinator in Bali, I Wayan Wiradnyana, said that turtles are threatened by illegal fishing.
