AMBON is calling for a better future. After the bloody religious wars between Muslims and Christians paralyzed the city for years since 1999, Ambon has gradually returned to a semblance of normality. Buildings and houses are rebuilt, public facilities are reopened, students are back to school, and government together with community continuously search for feasible ways to protect the city from further conflicts.
