Malaysia expresses interest in importing rice and beef from South Sulawesi.

THE Province of South Sulawesi is ready to export rice to Malaysia beginning next year. Malaysia requires about 70,000 tons of imported rice a year.

“Malaysia considers our rice to be of high quality,” said Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo during a dinner at his residence in honor of Datuk Azim, a visiting representative of Malaysian agriculture investors, earlier this month.
