IT was 3am on Wednesday three weeks ago when someone knocked on the door of a house in Kampung Gorong-Gorong in the Papua district of Timika with a greeting in Amungme, the local language. Unsuspectingly, the occupants of the house responded to the greeting and opened the door. Fifteen armed men rushed in.
