THREE female researchers are crowded around a glass-covered table. They skillfully fill small tubes with liquid which drips from a pipette. Plant samples taken from Mount Palung National Park, West Kalimantan, are inside the tubes. The researchers were making extracts to take samples of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).
