FOR several months now, farmers have failed to harvest seaweed in Sabu Raijua (Sarai) regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The blame lies not with any disease or seasonal error. “Seaweed farmers in Sabu Raijua have suffered harvest failures due to seawater contamination,” said Sabu Raijua Regent, Thobias Uly, two weeks ago.
