With a view to reinvigorating South Sulawesi’s tourism industry, the provincial government launched Visit South Sulawesi 2012. Prospects for tourist arrivals are bright, only with some improvements.

THE South Sulawesi provincial administration is striving to revive the tourism sector, which has declined since the 1997 economic crisis and various bombings.
