East Kalimantan to Plant 6.5 Million Trees

THE East Kalimantan provincial government plans to plant 6.5 milli­on trees to reduce carbon emis­sion, which is the agenda­ set by the go­vernment. This was implemented starting this past January and to go on for the next five years. “The program is the government’s agenda in realizing the planting of 1 billion trees nationwide,” said East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak, Thursday
