53 Fatalities from Malaria in Intan Jaya

THE death toll from malaria in Intan Jaya, Papua province, has reached 53 people in the last three months. “Residents still complain because the handling of the malaria epidemic is yet to be completed while the number of victims continues to rise,” said Yulius Miagoni, member of Papua’s Community Council Delegation Commission, last Tuesday.
