In Takalar regency, South Sulawesi, students in five elementary schools are trained to become agents of sanitation. They motivate their parents to construct toilets and apply a healthy lifestyle at home and at school.

FOR some time, in the Kaluku Bodo State Elementary School at Bontomarannu village, South Galenggong subdistrict, the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program has been successfully implemented. Students are taught to improve both their health and the quality of their living environment through Clean and Healthy Living Behavior. The program has now been officially included in the school curriculum.
