THE sea is life, a source of livelihood and the breath that the Bajo children take. On the boat, they are born, grow and die. On the boat they open up friendship with the oceans. They learn to read the seasons, to be familiar with the winds, and forecast the direction of the stars which guide them in making a living and to return home safely. The sea and its entire contents teach them that greed is the root of marine destruction.
