Inter-religious life in Larantuka goes on almost unhindered. The local Muslim community feels as if they are part of the Diocese.

TWO children wearing Muslim headscarves and flip flops entered the courtyard of Larantuka Cathedral. Their happy giggles resonated into about 300 Catholics who filled the courtyard, the size of half a soccer field. These Muslim girls were not afraid to enter the church as though they were on a playground.
