Mansinam Island is another place to visit in Doreri Bay. It was from here that the Protestant religion spread throughout Papua.

THE reinforced concrete cross stands at the edge of the sea in Doreri Bay, right beside the docks of Mansinam Island. The waves break on the steps of the archway which leads directly into the sea. The cross which stands 5 meters tall is encased in white ceramic and stands between two angels, a monument which symbolizes the spread of civilization in Papua.
