The 'No-no' Language

WHENEVER one talks to someone of the Cia-Cia tribe, one can distinguish them saying "cia" in every conversation. According to the national report published by the Indonesian Language Development Agency, "cia" literally means no. The name was coined in 1960.
According to Baubau city data, there are roughly 60,000 speakers. It has four different dialects used in the region of Buton Island, Batuata, Binongko, and Moromaho Islands in Southeast Sulawesi
