Roads in Aceh Funded by Foreign Donors

Aceh is still rebuilding itself following the earthquake and the tsunami of 2004. For now, the provincial government, assisted by foreign funds, is completing a 100-kilometer road connecting Calang in Aceh Jaya and Meulaboh in West Aceh. The construction of about 47 kilometers was funded by the Multi Donor Fund (MDF) and the remainder by the government.
