Rizal Bahalwan opened a guesthouse in the Banda Islands, Maluku, when many other places closed down in the wake of communal conflict there. He has since spearheaded excursion tours in the region.

Not many people were seen on Hatta Island, one of those with white sand beaches in the Banda Islands, Maluku.
