A bucket of turtle eggs in hand, Baso walked along the seashore in the early morning and approached a man with a flashlight. The man checked the eggsthere were 100 in alland told Baso to put them in a hole in a beach and cover it with sand. After that, Baso planted on the sand a small flag on which he wrote the date and amount of eggs. "Not bad. I get Rp1,000 per egg," Baso told Tempo a month ago.
