Two of Bali's oldest churches incorporate elements of Balinese Hindu culture into their services.

Bali Made Hirawan, 64, is a Christian, not a Hindu like the majority of Balinese. But that did not stop him from helping his Hindu neighbors during a ngaben (Balinese funeral) held a couple months ago in Tuka, his home village. "I helped carry the coffin to the cemetery," he said.
