Maria Heni is busy almost every day, but this June was particularly chaotic. Many of her neighbors in Kampung Rekas, West Manggarai, were throwing celebrations. "Every June, I'm flooded with orders for chickens," she said. According to Heni, villagers in Rekas would order chicken from her because the traditional market opens only twice a week.
