Nely Sopiana, 30, does not have time for a break after performing household chores. After sweeping, washing and cooking, the mother-of-one would go straight to the gedogan, a wooden manual loom, located in one corner of her home.
Unlike manual looms used by weavers in some regions of Indonesia, the gedogan makes a loud clacking noise when its wooden parts come together.
