Villagers in the Yapen Islands, Papua, have found a creative use for keladi, using the tuber plant as key ingredient in pizza dough.

There was a time when Herdomina Ramandai would always have trouble selling her keladi (taro-like tuber). Even after selling some of her harvest to the market, her keladi supply never seemed to diminish. Unsurprising, since all her neighbors were also growing the same plant.
