LPG Price Up, Back to Kerosene

If you live on a shoestring, put aside your gas cookers right away. Because the price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) has risen by 40 percent, from Rp1,500 to Rp2,100 per kilogram. The new rate is contained in a decision signed by the President Director of state oil & gas company Pertamina, Baihaki Hakim, and effective as of November 3, 2000.
