Setting an Electoral Example

WITH the elections for governor and deputy governor in Aceh less than a month away, tsunami-hit communities have been organizing their own village elections and setting an example for the rest of the region. The election was held late last September in the village of Kareung, in the subdistrict of Lhoong, a former conflict area, 55 kilometers from Banda Aceh.
