The Supreme Court has sentenced Zuiyen Rais, Mayor of Padang, to 10 months in jail. But Zuiyen has not officially been told yet and is still in his post.

Zuiyen Rais is in the hot seat but he still has a job—for a few days anyway. The mayor of the West Sumatra capital Padang will soon have to leave his post, following a judicial review on a corruption case he thought he had won. The Supreme Court has now overruled the verdict.
