Congratulatory messages accompanied him on his trip from Bandung to Karawang, West Java on Wednesday two weeks ago. News that his book Halis Pasir was selected as the winner of the 2011 Rancage Literary Award seemed to spread fast. The 68-year-old admitted that he was pleased, but not surprised that he won that award.
