IGNATIUS JONAN
Sleepers

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

Exhausted after inspecting a number of train stations from Jakarta to Surabaya, Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) CEO Ignatius Jonan fell asleep in one of the economy class cars. In the picture taken by public policy observer, Agus Pambagio, we see Jonan lying down on a bench, oblivious to everything. Next to where he is lying can be seen a sidetable where he had put down his cell-phone. Later, he claimed he fell asleep after inspecting the night time services. "I became drowsy and the handphone signal was weak, what was there to do? So I went to sleep," said Jonan.
