In Kutaraja, in the year 1891, there lived a merchant called Haji Abdul Karim. He made a living by renting his carriage and horse to a coachman. Every day, just before sunset, the horse-drawn vehicle was returned to the stable and the coachman paid his rent. One day, the two-wheeled buggy was carrying a sack of rice out of town.
