HE who spent 18 years in prison, 12 of them locked in isolation, wrote a poem addressed to himself:
Yes, you.
You are the people's secret agent. You are
the eyes of the nation.
Agent Spy, tell us what you have seen. Tell us
what the initiated, the clever, have hidden
from us.
The accused called himself "Agent Spy". He admitted to being a spy, but he did not do this for any enemy country. He was the "people's secret agent".
