RIZIQ, so the story goes, visited a school in Aceh a year after Meulaboh was completely destroyed by the tsunami. He was invited to speak before a class at a recently rebuilt school. He was pleased to do this, because before he became a member of parliament, he had been a lecturer in the department of English literature.
He stepped forward, and recalling what had befallen Aceh, wrote on the blackboard: T-R-A-G-E-D-Y.
“Now, boys and girls,”
