For over half a century, perhaps no more than 50 people visited the room at Pod vodrenskou vezi 4 in Prague.
Since 1958, there have been stored there 315 sacred Tibetan manuscripts, part of the library of the Oriental Institute in the Czech Republic. But it is not clear whether there is a particular interest in Tibetology there, or precisely what the use of this is to a nation millions of kilometers from Asia.
