Eppur si move. Perhaps 400 years ago, while gazing at the sky and stamping his foot on the ground, Galileo uttered those words. But perhaps it is just a story. Whatever really happened, that sentence was meant to stress something that to him was a 'fact'-that the earth moves, orbiting the sun-regardless of religious teaching that said the opposite.
