We need words. Mankind needs conversation.
In Hamlet, a ghost appears in a corner of Elsinore castle. The kingdom of Denmark is gripped by tyranny. The ghost is the spirit of the king who was murdered by the current king. Horatio, Hamlet's friend, defying his fear at seeing this face from the grave, calls out:
If thou has any sound, or use of voice,
Speak to me:
As the ghost departs, Horatio pleads with him, louder still, "Stay, and speak!"
