IDON'T know whether he believed in a God who speaks. He came from a land with no stories of prophets. He did come to the conclusion that life has "The non-caused Cause". But I don't know whether he believed in a God who speaks.
What I do know and find impressive, is that Aristotle, whose deliberations took shape in an ancient land of god-worshippers, could have had such huge influence on people of faith 1,500 years further on.
