THE world no longer remembers who Dhanu was. On May 21, 1991 at 10:20 at night, this dark-skinned, fulllipped young woman approached the place where the ceremony was going on. She was carrying a bouquet of sandalwood leaves. There, on the square in Sriperumbudur (48 kilometers from Madras), was Prime Minister Rajiv Ghandi. He was listening to a girl reading a poem.
Dhanu kept approaching. Suddenly there was an explosion. Rajiv Ghandi died
