ADB Grants US$60 Million to Aceh

THE Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 2006 targets to prepare US$80 million or around Rp72 billion to reconstruct houses in Aceh and Nias. We hope 5,000 houses can be built this year, with the rest to be built next year. But in the meantime we will also build roads that are urgently needed, as soon as possible, said Program Planner head, Pieter M. Smidt, to reporters last Thursday.
