THE United Development Party (PPP) plans to form an alliance with a former member of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) in the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam gubernatorial election for the period of 2006-2011. PPP is going to field Ahmad Humam Hamid, while its GAM favorite is Hasdi Abdullah.
